Hello World!
My name is Chris Castiglione and I’m a developer, musician, and a New Media M.A. student at the University of Amsterdam. Recently, I’ve been writing and researching about the music industr(ies), new media, open-source content, and Internet trends. I’ve been involved in a variety of music projects including my latest, Dance At The Postoffice, and the ‘free music’ blog musicNeutral. I’m also an advocate of net neutrality, creative exploration and storytelling using new technologies.
I graduated from James Madison University where I studied Music and Media Arts and Design. During college I interned/worked in NYC at Stratosphere Sound. Then after university I spent some time teaching ESL while living in Osaka, Japan. Until last year I was at the development firm Omnistudio in Washington, DC where I developed websites for non-profit organizations in the district and around the world.
